No, bearcub, my pantry experience didn't evoke any profound thoughts. I considered supplementing my existing cache with some dried fruit for the nutrients and some canned ravioli for comfort food. I would not normally eat either of those due to calorie content, but in a crisis, I can justify it. I also thought some about the low sodium content of my canned goods. I'm pretty careful about sodium. It occurred to me that the recommended daily water consumption would have been made based upon a higher level of sodium consumption and that I might not need a full two quarts a day but that others might need more. Mostly I thought about how uncomfortable I was sitting on the floor reaching into the cabinet. See, no profound thoughts there. Sorry to disappoint.

p.s. I found three jars of mango pickle. Anybody need some?
