Also interesting that the Clintons may be moving in next door to Peltz up there in Westchester County. I do wonder what these investors have in mind. Do they intend to take control of the company? The Australian investor, Kerry Packer is big in telecommunications and is worth $3.7 billion, so this $40 mill may simply be a sideline bet.. ;-)

But yes, ABTE has had their problems. They have mis-handled the $500 mill New Jersey EZ Pass Project, but the contract is still theirs. They also have $350 mill in guaranteed work from MCI Worldcom and a $1.2 billion backlog.

And now someone has gone out and purchased almost 600,000 shares worth of September Calls. That's considerable considering that there are only around 11 mill outstanding shares. It will be interesting to see how this one pans out.
