You know what I like? Fresh garlic bread. There's a good recipe in this month's Cook's Illustrated, it uses grated parmesan in the butter, you use softened butter, and heat the unpeeled cloves of garlic in a pan to precook it a little, mince the garlic into that (I just squeezed it through a garlic press), and grate fresh parmesan into that, and mix it up, and spread it on a split loaf of Italian bread (I used real French bread). Bake it until it's golden brown.

We had that with Chris' killer chili, made with home grown Habanero and Tabasco peppers and fresh Brandywine tomatoes from our own garden. It was good.
