BTW, IBM, Andersen Consulting, Cambridge Tech Partners, etc. do the bulk of internet set-up and consulting. Not the start-ups in the valley.

Nope, those Hudson River Valley firms do not dominate the internet bus...

Dell is king of the net sales dept.


Dell likely is correct although I do not know the breakdown of business versus retail purchases there. Cisco no way. When was the last time a router was bought for retail?

My point is most of Dell and Cisco's business online is business to business. Staying with this concept, Apple Computer does well online too.

Not nearly as well I am aware.
