Same here, and fair enough. The varible for me is AMD's process capability. I assume the K7 design is very scalable, but to me Dresden and AMD .18 is a big craps shoot at this point, until proven otherwise, thus, the basis for my comments. Very good likelyhood that it will be a close race for a while.

Nevertheless, I am basing my comments on recent information, which means Coppermine.

Sigh. I've been anticipating this for a long time. In reference to another post you made, yes Intel did screw up with Coppermine pre-launch activities. But I continue to state that in the final analysis the Coppermine delay will be considered a minor glitch in timing that will hardly be worthy of comment versus various other slips. Still, a slip is a slip, and I hate slips. Too much stress. :-).
