Hope I'm posting this question in the right place. If not, please just point me to the correct SI subject and I'll slink away quietly. <g> Anyway, here it is:

I understand traditional and Roth IRAs, the basics of how they work, maximum contributions, etc. But I also own a small business, have no pension plan of any kind, and know that I can have a SEP. Here's my question in a nutshell: can my wife and I each have an IRA, plus a SEP, or must we choose whether to have regular IRAs or a SEP? And one more: can a SEP be in the form of a Roth IRA?

Many thanks!
