My prediction of Monday's auction count has NOTHING to do with disgruntled eBay users. It has to do with the fact that eBay counts fall over the weekends. I was responding to someone who was essentially stating that the auction count was rising over the weekend, which it is not. As to your prediction that eBay's auction count will be 4M by Christmas -- I think that is optimistic, but possible. I think 3.8M will be more likely, with an actual lower number on Christmas day.
