"It's Not Easy Bein' a Green Martian" (lyrics by Father Terrence) It's not that easy bein' green; Havin' to spend each day the coloring the sky. When I think I could be nicer as Jupiter red, or Saturn yellow or Midas gold- or something much more than a Martian. It's not easy bein' green. Against this red dust I always feel like a Christmas tree surrounded by ornaments And other martians tend to pass you over 'cause you're They're green too and everone's the same- except the Bluto Monsters. But green's the color of things. And green the color of some money. And green can be big like our Martian god, or important Like the canals, or tall like a the Face of Mars. When green is all there is to be It could make you wonder why, but why wonder why? I'm a Martian, I am green and it'll do fine, Martian's are beautiful! And I think it's what I want to be. (Especially when I point the telescope at Earth.)
