I Love It.....

"The countdown, which is nothing more than fun, is to see if Qualcomm's stock gets to $20,000 pre-split and $10,000 post-split by April 1, 2007"

...No longer do I need any of that "financial planning" cr*p. I just
need to determine the number of shares of Q I need to retire in '07 !!!!! :o)

I'm going to sleep well tonight...maybe call in sick tomorrow?

I love this thread VBG

The countdown, which is nothing more than fun, is to see if Qualcomm's stock gets t $20,000 pre-split and $10,000 post-split by April 1, 2007.

10,000 by 2007. Hmmm…lets see: I will use SI Profile numbers.
Q's present price: 174.938
Market Cap: 27.29 Billion
That , divided though, = 15,599,800 shares outstanding
Times 10,000, = 1,559.98 Billion market cap in 2007.

Other Market Caps right now
MSFT: 458.56 Billion
CSCO: 217.51 Billion
INTC: 278.02 Billion
LU: 171.79 Billion

The above four companies should each have market caps over one trillion by 2007, If present trends continue, so it is not totally out of line, but, still one hell of a jump.
