It has struck the industrial heartland of the country and death toll is expected to reach 40,000 when all the rubble is cleared off. I just came back from the worst effected town Golcuk doing relief work for the last 24 hours. I used to live there for 10 years and I am at a loss of words, to describe the magnitude of the destruction and the suffering of people. Please help the affected people as each of you see fit through the below US aid organizations. Your help is important since the area covered by the earthquake is huge.
