i received this reply from Ike in response to a very naive question; ynot ;) <<i will go over your posts, again, but if i understand this post you look for relationship between NDX BKX SOX PSE DOT and SPU when the others didn't follow, you assumed noise>> yes I think so.. <<noise, fear and greed, true does the market whipsaw or do the pit traders whipsaw the market? i suppose the two are related but if the traders can whipsaw the market, is this the noise? otherwise i support the traders swiftly realign their positions>> yes. traders have no positions in the first place, they come clean every morning to the market and go clean more often than not, they trade and it is lesser guys who get whipsaw. THose who read to much in the charts and too much in 'exotic theroies' I know it for long many a time these movements are planeed well in advance they se the stops and they will run them, that is how they make money ofcourse it is only possible when market is wobbly and is unable to make sense of ag'S CAPPING efforts, that is how hw controls the asset inflation, but putting a cap of uncertainity..again Ihave highlighted it several times that his words are more important than his actions.. with corporate porfits on his side and PEG going alright he can correct this huge p/e's in three or four quarters if earnings keep growing the way they are and he keeps inflation under control that is the chicken and mouse game we see in the marekts, we all are part of it and we like to be a part.
