Wayne, Your observation is definitely proven by the quarter horses. In the quarters, there is no differentiation at all between males and females. The females have taken a nice percentage of All-American Futurity titles. However, I am not certain if the youth (2 year olds) doesn't have something to do with the equality. But a couple of years ago, Tami Purcell was the winning jockey on a filly with a woman owner and a woman trainer. And it wasn't a fluke as she was the favorite. The further they go, the less well the ladies do in relative terms. At least the horse ladies. I think Tami could ride The Pony Express. <g>

Dr. Ed Yardeni and Earnings Quality

Dr. Ed Yardeni just released an online audio of a study he did to determine the true level of corporate profits if stock options were expensed. It's excellent.

You will have to download REALPLAYER to listen to it if you don't already have it available. There is a free version available you can get at his webpage.
