<<DJ S3 Inc. Buy Of Diamond Multi Gets Early Antitrust OK SANTA CLARA, Calif. (Dow Jones)--S3 Inc. (SIII) received early antitrust clearance for its acquisition of Diamond Multimedia Systems Inc. (DIMD). In a press release Wednesay, S3 Inc., a maker of video acclerators, said the companies have scheduled shareholder votes to approve the transaction for September 20. As reported, Diamond Multimedia shareholders will receive 0.52 of an S3 share for each Diamond share in the merger.>>
