Pruguy, I was born and raised in a third world country and so you can take it directly from me.

They do not have electricity in 80% of the country of my birth. But they have TV in those places. How? Satellite and a local electrical generator makes it possible. These TV sets are run at community centers in the evening hours where the village population flocks to watch. Who said that these people would not yearn for information and knowledge in spite of them not having food on the table and a piece of cloth to cover them? Via satellite, AOL would be beaming to each and every nook and corner of this globe.

Will broadband carry that signal to those places?
