I've read unfavorable things about mci at the time of the takeover- nothing drastic just a general depiction of the co as being not much more than wires and voice customers. Also, other things re the torrid pace of wcom's expansion, and growing pains that could/would ensue. For a while there there were so many great opinions of wcom being trumpeted by the pros, I began to wonder if it could possibly go any higher- but it did. Victor, Competition in the retail long distance market is the current problem. That is a market that is not a long term market due to voice over data, etc. They own UUnet and I believe strongly this firm will do well. Glenn
