<< GWB is said to believe this will all "blow over." >>

One has to wonder if GWB would handle complex domestic or world questions any better than he has handled a simple question about his possible previous drug use.

Why would he decide to turn an "easy to answer" question into a possible campaign nightmare? The "I would be able to pass a 7 year abstinence test against drugs" was a big, clumsy gaff.

This does set the stage for the first Republican primary debate, if there is one. The conservatives would love to feast off of GWB's flesh, and a debate might be the place to set the table.

chalu2, I hope you understand that I'm only here to gain knowledge. So I would like to know, if you don't mind telling me, which person do you think would make the best president for our country? And why?
Thanks, C Kahn
