A lot has happened on Ebay in the last 24 hours....If I had a position in Ebay, I would be watching it VERY closely! There is more to it than auction counts. "X the Unknown" has given the group some valuable insight into what (in my opinion) is a snowball gaining momentum of HIGH DOLLAR revenue producers jumping ship.

The count on Gold's auction site is up by 2,000 today. MANY Ebay sellers say they are just biding time until their auctions close on Ebay to head to Gold's.

If I am not mistaken, Gold's does not even officially open until tomorrow, they have a number of incentives, like a $15 starting credit to all newcomers, and NO CHARGE auctions through the rest of August.

I personally do not like the "feel" of Amazon or Yahoo, and Edeal does not seem to be gaining many auctions, but GOLD'S was and is all the talk on the seller chats at Ebay.

I think the net effect is that it will put more money into eBay's coffers.

And, after a few weeks, the boycotters will find that "there is no place like eBay for getting your stuff sold" and will return.

As far as the auction count: the drop over the weekend is within normal range, as eBay always (unless there has been an outage), drops in count over the weekend.
