Hi Christine!

My brother is going to SF w/wife for their 10th anniversary this Fall. When in SF they'll be staying at the Golden Gate Hotel. Got any good ideas for dining out, i.e., the places the locals keep to themselves?

No need for an immediate response.

Regards,
Duncan

I have observed lots of family and community farm efforts here. While they do manage to feed themselves, the surplus produced is generally quite small, and economic advancement is very limited. Like it or not, the American corporate farmers generate a greater surplus than anyone in the world, and they feed much of the world, along with their counterparts in Australia, Canada, and Argentina, the other major food exporters.

Not saying it must always be that way, only that it is.

Well, I am not sure whom the burden of proof is on, but I will see what I can come up with....

I made a cursory search, but have so far not come up with a site sufficiently unbiased to be of any use. I will try more later....
