wily,
i don't recall him fixing the time frame so narrowly in the past but he certainly has predicted the 10% premium before.
i like to remember that the rmbs staff has a long history of understatement. tate certainly must have strong reasons for these bold pronouncements.

This isn't necessarily a more optimistic view... the goal has always been to get within shouting distance of SDRAMs. The only issue Rambus ever had was when it would happen.
