Rob - Re: "The Win64 announcement will take place RSN more than

WIn64 - as in NT 64?

Compaq is DROPPING THIS PRODUCT - !

Maybe you don't have good reading comprehension skills - but I'd say ALPHA is going to be "86ed" - RSN !

Rob,

Re: "Don't get too excited about the Alpha "bad news" there laddy.."

The "bad news" for Alpha started with the Compaq purchase of DEC without
taking the Fab capability, "ol stick" ... Really a stupid, "amateur night"
move by Compaq. In case you haven't been following the situation, the DEC
purchase along with Alpha is what is "killing" Compaq. Alpha will be
"circular filed" by Compaq, RSN.

Make It So,
Yousef

Looks like the Alpha days are numbered...expect Microsoft to drop support at the earliest convienient time (probably when Merced comes out).
