GWB obviously had given the cocaine issue much thought. It is obvious that he considers this a critical issue, and this problem is probably why he waffled early on whether or not he was going to run.

His response that he would pass the requirements for 7 years drug free does not reflect good decision making skills, if he has been drug free since his youth.

I don't know. The public is pretty forgiving, if they think that GWB will do a good job for them as President. Look at how they have forgiven Clinton for lying to them.

They say that drugs like cocaine mess up the mind. This, plus GWB's indecisive handling of a simple drug question makes me worry about this candidate, of whom I was considering for my vote.
