Does anyone seriously expect this? Or even think there is a better than 1% chance? Even privately? Of course, raising .5 would be the right thing to do, what with the yen soaring and US markets edging ever onward to an explosive collapse, but is there even a chance of this?

Is it true that the fed has simply become a pitch-man for US equities?
