It is reasonable to expect that when stones are placed vertically, one on top of the other, those higher up will compress against those lower down so that, overtime, the stones would "settle" and become so tight-fitting that even a hair cannot be passed between any two stones. So much for the stones placed vertically!

But how does one explain the tight-fittingness of any two stones in a horizontal row of stones on the surface of the pyramid? What is the source of the compression force, if there be any? Mind you, here we are not dealing with arc/curves and keystones.

I have pieces of the white Limestone Capstone, as well as pieces of the blocks..By some miracle I found a large piece of Basalt which covers the interior of the Great Room. I collected pieces of the interior of King Tuts Tomb and many others..You cannot imagine the Pyramid stones that close together on the sides.Scients have never figured out how they were built..Inside there are some Blocks that are the size of a
60 tom boxcar..unbelievable. Unless they were molded from sand and baked in place.:-) SD..
