What's sad is the Republican "Head in Sand" approach to drugs. They won't even allow debate on this issue of legalized drugs. That is narrow minded and dogmatic!

You might be right. Legalizing drugs may make America's drug problem worse. But, it could make things much better.

Why not have a national think tank formed to study the issue and come up with some alternatives to the current disastrous and losing war on drugs?

Why are the Republicans so afraid of an open debate? It reminds me of latter days when sexual abuse of children, by parents, or spousal abuse was not to be mentioned. Society just looked the other way. Sadly, this is still being ignored, but not as much.
