TB:" the sunk also rises "

so here we are, rising on light volume again, a day before FOMC probably increases our kost of kapital by 0.25%

the Yen:Yank is again approaching parity with the euro, and the last time oil was this expensive, we had big queues of Detroit Dinosaurs at all our petrol stations. Nobody seems to care - perhaps we are all just too well-off now to worry about energy. Man, down here in Texas there's nothing but truck-chassis vehicles on the road - my little spyder feels like a go-cart on the motorway (^_^)

I'm beginning to think, Berney, that the five sectors we follow closely ( tech / telx / retail / fin / drugz ) and which make up our long-term CORE holdings, will continue to rotate in turn like a Wright Cyclone Radial Engine, ending up the year with a reasonable net gain overall BUT - with no sector gaining so much as its peak for the year. In other words, rather than "buy and hold" investment grade stocks, this year the clever port managers "sit on it and rotate".

My regrets this year are (1) that I am under-weighted in "all those industrial cyclicals that nobody owns"; and (2) that I have any money at all invested in bondz :-/
