Hypotheticals function in a certain way. I've done all I can to explicate how, and why they are found widely useful in intellectual discourse generally, and by me, personally. Not everybody is on the same philosophical wavelength about argumentation or anything else, of course. Some people find certain arguments uninteresting, some people find all arguments uninteresting. Some people are sometimes swayed, and change, in argument, some people never are. It's like life. Chaqu'un a son gout.

And of COURSE you still know how you feel about rape on a persona level! Good lord, X.

Your points about the lack of any sense to the concept of a "Platonic" "acceptability" are an echo of your earlier interesting points, and I think that's fundamental, though didn't fully recognize it until you contributed it to the discussion.
