DULLES, Va. (CBS.MW) -- Germany's Focus Magazine reported Sunday that America Online plans to offer a television channel, AOL-TV
Citing an interview in Focus with AOL (AOL: news, msgs) Chief
Executive Officer Steve Case, Reuters reported Sunday that Case told the German magazine AOL would offer e-mail and chat features over the television channel

In further comment on the European television sector, Case added AOL isn't interested in purchasing Deutsche Telekom's (DT: news, msgs) cable television properties.

Yet AOL has a European partnership with German media giant Bertelsmann and Case told Focus AOL could participate in a TV joint-venture with the company, Reuters reported.
