BTW, I am closing all my short positions today at the opening bell, at a nasty loss. I'm quite certain the greenspan has no intentions of doing anything to upset the market. His position is now one of maintaining the bubble at all costs.

I'm going long all the inuts except AOL and priceline. We're in for a 40% rally in YHOO/AMZN by friday.

Expect an immediate 4% gain in the dow after the fed meeting on tuesday. Every analyst and broker has been saying "actually, raising interest rates .25 is GOOD for the stock market."

And they've kept saying it, and kept saying it. The public certainly seems to be buying that load of tripe.. No signs of suddenly becoming aware of little things like fundamentals...

re yahoo -

i agree...where are the ads on yahoo anyway that are to bring in all this revenue...

they've given away free email, free stock quotes, free chat boards...

so, you feel amzn is going up 40 % this week, eh, pls advise which calls you bought...since you can afford to buy a gazillion, we could easily monitor the specific ones you buy...you reported you doubled your net worth last week, this week should be a gimme...another double or even more

gosh...soon Billy Gates will have nothin' on you !!?
