I concede you have a point. AMD does not have the facilities to make such technological transitions , shall I say, optimally. However, I wouldn't view F25 as a "backup" for F30. I don't believe you can realistically use fabs with two different technologies as backups for each other. Example: Dresden K7's have 10% better performance than Austin K7's. Dresden has some incident where production is disrupted for a matter of weeks. It would be extremely difficult to a) load Austin on a moments notice, and b) ask customers to please buy the Austin K7's instead of the Dresden K7's you ordered. See where I'm going with this?
