amd going to ddram. another reason to go rambus. re internet site registration. the reason rmbs would register the other sites srdram.matters.org. etc. is only to prevent others from using them. it is cheap insurance. rocky

Dan, You clearly don't understand the physics involved in driving signals on a pcb at high frequencies. The only repeat ONLY way that this can be made to work cleanly is by driving into a well defined, matched impedance, transmission line, with the correct termination. While Rambus is not the only possible implementation, it is far superior to any PC1?? layout which has an indeterminate number of large lumped capacitances on badly terminated lines. What is your qualification in Electronics or Physics? Ian
