Satellite services number worked fine when I called.... just FYI. I've also been wondering about a few things G's business plan that maybe you could help me out with... I've been lurking around a bit, but haven't really looked into this thing till my handset questions a while back [thanks much for that by the way!]. I had asked about the handsets, and feel that G certainly goes a long way in eliminating the Irid problems... but: - Who do you see as a likely user of the product? There are certainly lots areas of the country [Idaho etc] that could use them, but how many folks would lug that thing around? Is G* expecting people to use it where there's local service for the roaming [ie. does it really work inside]? - In that vein... how is the payment plan structured for the low usage individuals? ie. How does G*'s profit look if there are lots of users, but they don't use it much. - Does the 7kbps-9.6kbps data... give them much of an advantage over dual mode dig/analog roam??? Also... we have to assume that IRID won't just go away right? They will keep coming back with new owners till the plan makes sense unless they implode under maintainance costs... wonder what rates per minute that will be, any idea? Wow, that's a mouth full! Any comments are deeply appreciated. DAK
