RE <<I haven't seen anything like this on INTC in the recent past.>>

You are right....I have never seen so much institutional selling even when Dell was going through its downtrend. The thing that surprised me is that the volume was near normal but otherwise it looks like what's called a parabolic top. We will know in a few days but it appears intc is setting itself up to be a short. I suspect the institutions are getting nervous with the buzz around the Athlon.

It would be divine justice given the major attitude of the intc longs which is that the intc stock can do no wrong.

BTW it looks like ALSC has broken out....it would be nice if it makes a big climb like CY. I am waiting for MTSN to do the same. Maybe tomorrow since AMAT got a reiteration today and was up over two.

charles - <I haven't seen anything like this on INTC in the recent past.>

I wonder if this being the first Monday after the Intel Employee SSP subscription period had anything to do with the data you presented? I don't really have an opinion; just a point of curiosity.
