You are forgetting that Ancor is a company that has made many mis-steps in the past. There is no reason to believe that all of a sudden they now have their act together because their share price has gone up. They will in time have competition.

If Brocade is the only competitor then market is very small because they have no revenue to speak of, either. Valuation implies that revenues can grow to the over 100 million level in near future (WAG - please supply your revenue target). At that level every big corporation is your competitor, and they can re-define the standards away from your patents etc. so technology competence isn't a defence, for anyone.
