Yes they must be. It seems like that it's possible to built PC's based on foils. The good news is that, it is a lot easier to "shrink" foils, just use the reduce buttom on the copier.

Good to have you back!

A while back we were wondering on this thread what kind of speed improvements are likely on Athlon as they go from 0.25 to 0.18 given that the transistors are already at 0.18. We missed your expertise on how transistor delays, interconnect delays, and clock skew contribute for this class of designs. Any comments?

The foils have always performed well. The problem has been that there wasn't, and still isn't, any available product. Mani was just boasting that he had actually SEEN one!!! Imagine that! He saw one!! Now that's really going to add to the bottom line!!!
