. . . . . . Critical Factors on Internet Stocks. . . . . .

Last years 4 and 5 baggers are not this years. . . and we want to be where the biggest gainers are. Stay ahead of the market. . . and don't get stuck buying the same old names over and over.

The internet has changed. . . and the Next Generation Internet will really change. . . . .Already we are seeing. . .

Free PC, when you watch advertising. . .

Falling prices on xDSL services leading to lower revs by baby bells and others bringing it home.

Free Internet Service, for signing on to look at advertising. . .

Free Information services and communities with banner ads. . .

Free phone service over the internet, when you log onto certain sites. .

What do these have in common? Advertising

Internet advertisers are the ones I expect will make some of the highest profits in the internet sector in the coming years. By contrast, portals, ISPs and virtually any company that charges a fee for their services, with regard to the internet. . .may be challenged with increased competition and decreasing 'perceived value' in the services they represent.

And I am not alone in my thinking.

Look at how these internet advertising stocks outpaced the rest of the market, including portals:
FCST + 10.2%
MMPT + 8.5%
TFSM + 8.4%
ADFC + 4.2%

By comparison. . . AOL +3.0%; GNET +1.8%; LCOS +1.8%; SEEK +1.8%; MSPG +1.5%

Others that we follow regularly outpaced the market today including:

LQID +14%; EXDS +8.2%: VRSN +9.1%; ATHM +6.0%; BRCM +5.44%; CNET +7.0%; QCOM +5%; ANTC +6.55%; GIC +4.3%; CNXT +3.8%

Can anyone tell me what these stocks have in common?
