Perhaps...but do you want to allow the sale of such substances on the same basis as other products? Should we allow the free distribution of samples? Celebrity endorsements? Will legalization make it easier to flood the black market for minors, since there would no longer be any problem with distribution until the last part of the network? Also, in my experience as a teenager, it was one's friends, primarily, who pushed drugs at one, by inviting one to party on their stash, which makes the control of contraband aimed at minors especially difficult. These are just a few misgivings....
