Do you find it a bit odd that a school renowned for its engineering department has no functional elevators at all? There was a notice on the bulletin board (which I read several times while standing in line for my one trip up the elevator) stating that the elevators would be down through June and July for complete overhaul and "modernization" and open again in Aug. I guess that was the one hour of service we got. They are really very lucky that no parent keeled over in that heat. However, about those Rice girls, when Dan was released from the elevator, he emerged with the names of a couple of girls to pass on to CW, saying they were hotties (What a dad) and we saw one knock-out blonde who caused Ammo to nearly kill himself on the stairs. I wondered what dorm you were in, but figured as a grad student, it wouldn't have been Brown.
