Even this long time Democrat would likely vote for McCain if the Republicans can nominate him. But I doubt that the rightwing fanatics will allow his nomination and we will be stuck with Gore. Hmmm, Gored to death. Maybe I should write poetry.

Frankly, I think that McCain is the only Republican candidate who can win unless the market crashes before election day.

Dan, I read that too. I don't know how far away from the truth that is. I do remember the Keating Five stuff, and reading about McCains wife having a drug problem.
Here in Arizona, everything gets in the papers.
I have no problem withCindy McCain, or anyone else... Heck look at Betty Ford.
I do wish I could find a link with the good things the candidiates do/did. I hate to have to wade through the bull on each home page. JMHO
