I think for EELN to move higher the interest rate outlook has to improve. They are directly affected by rising rates.

H & Q Really likes E-Loan's new relationship with B of A....FYI...

<<...Importantly, we believe that as a result of the acquisition, E-LOAN will enjoy
a closer relationship with BofA on multiple levels. Kenneth Lewis, president
of BofA, is expected to join the E-LOAN board following the completion of the
deal. In addition, we believe that E-LOAN will benefit from preferential
pricing not only with respect to auto lending, but also in the mortgage
lending space.

Stay Tuned for Further Developments. We estimate that carfinance.com is
currently on a $2-3 million revenue run rate. We expect greater visibility
into financial model implications after the deal closes. While interest rate
fluctuations remain a near-term risk in the core mortgage business, we believe
the story is much bigger than that as the company expands its product breadth
and geographic reach. This is a very aggressive management team who will
waste no time in executing upon the opportunity to help consumers more
actively manage the right hand side of the balance sheet. Online financial
services represents a huge market opportunity, and we believe E-LOAN will
continue to act as the consolidator in the broadly-defined lending space. We
continue to rate these shares a BUY.>>
