Luckily, the great Sewer Explosion was prior to my inhabiting Lou-uh-vul. It seems that Ralston Purina was dumping pure Hexene into the city sewers. Hexene is a very volatile and explosive substance, as demonstrated by the explosions. I recall seeing entire streets caved in, in photos. Miraculously, no one was killed in that fiasco.

I have a septic field at my place in INDIANA. It works perfectly, no sewer explosions, and no sewer bills. <g>
