PTEN broke 14 today. OSX looks to be strong tomorrow. Anybody know if there was news that moved the sector, or just clever fund managers? I've not see that kind of last minute move in a sector before. Maybe some news on the Venezuelan strike potential or possibly some upgrades coming our way soon? Richard

He also said an OPEC Heads of State meeting has been scheduled for the first week in March 2000 in Caracas. (Story .17985) Note: an earlier news item quoting another member stated that OPEC is not ready yet to implement anything like this. Looks as though they are going to work towards bands, but may not be ready yet. I am sure that implementation of such a plan could require a lot more co-ordination than has been the case.
