Here's the situation as I see it...

-The Fed does nothing. Reaction--Inflation fears creep into the bond market and equities tank.

-The Fed raises a 1/4 point with neutral bias. Reaction--Sell the news.

-The Fed raises a 1/4 point with tightening bias. Reaction--Sell the news and sell the bias.

-The Fed raises a 1/2 point and takes a jog to the Pentagon and back.
Reaction-Rally! Greenspan is obviously taking good care of himself and will be around another 2-4 years and preserve our bull market<GGG>

-The Fed does any of the above with the announcement of Greenspan's resignation. Reaction-It'd be good to be short...
