"smoke some powdered chihuahua gallbladder" After today, I think the metaphor you are looking for is that the bulls are eating the hallucinogenic (psilocybin) mushrooms that grow on bullsht. They're having these weird visions of stocks going up forever and every bull getting rich. They need to be sobered up with something like a full percentage point increase by the FOMC, although I doubt that will happen. As near as I can figure it, the Fed doesn't have the testiculos pelosos* to do any serious rate raising, the stock boom will go on longer, the dollar will drop lower, foreigners will pull out of US bonds causing problems for the bond market, and there will be serious price shocks in the price of imports, particularly the price of oil.
