NHBob,

You're absolutely right, but the battle at this time isn't about absolutes, it's about who can muddy the waters the most. The fear, not the filing, of lawsuits may hold back some design wins for the DDR folks.

Zeev, this minimal volume shows up on my TS2Ki BUY/SELL activity bar as a near even balance, but a tad more favoring sellers. This indicator, as it comes out of the can tracks whether fills are made closer to the bid or the ask as an indicator of which side is more anxious (motivated), Worden's BOP and Moneystream are similarly very indecisive, despite the big move in price today. BTW, in case you're a Brinker secular risk contrarian, get a look at ARMHY (mentioned in article) for some rambus-like price chop ($41-$49)

NHBob, I think that what is unique in RMBS's technology is the simultaneous use of both leading and trailing edge on each clock pulse, yes, clocking on either leading or trailing edge is antique (I can trail this trailing back to 1961, 38 years ago), but I do not remember clocking on both in each clock cycle.

NHBob,

but a claim of patent rights does not an infringement case make

No, but it is amazing how many things do get patented that probably shouldn't.

Clocking synchronous digital circuits (logic) on leading and trailing edges of the clock has only been around for about 35 years, back to TTL and JK flip flops,

What, only 35 years - don't you remember RTL?
