Torchmail revenues...

Management is very upbeat about the email revenues which will start once the Torchmail site is available in Chinese. They are aiming at early 2000 for this to happen.

Personal email will be free for basic service, with premium pay for services available such as mail forwarding, etc.

The corporate email is where it could get more exciting. Companies with many separate email address' will pay monthly fees per mailbox, plus whatever premium services they opt for.

Think of it as compared to our cable TV. You have basic service plus the premium channels such as HBO at an additional monthly charge.

Now think about it being available throughout the Chinese speaking world! This is not a service limited to the Chengdu geographical area!

To get more of a "feel" for it, go to USA.NET to see the fees they are getting here in this country.

Hope this helped,

Ty
