Looks like Yosano is doing a great job at messaging the bubble from abroad. With the dollar holding the critical 98.0 level, stocks look poised to move up from here....bwdik...

Japan MITI Yosano says hopes for strong dollar

TOKYO, Aug 24 (Reuters) - Japan's Trade Minister Kaoru Yosano said on Tuesday that a weak dollar was not favourable for the world economy and that he hoped for a strong dollar.

Regarding a recent rising trend in the yen, Yosano told a regular news conference: ''It's not the yen that is rising across-the-board. I think the dollar has weakened and as a result we feel that the yen has risen.''

''A weak dollar is not favourable for the world economy and I hope for a strong dollar,'' Yosano added.
