Ian, taking responsibility for your own investment success or failure does not mean that you can't learn from and benefit from what someone else has to teach. Many of us who have followed his work for several years know that Bob Brinker is a consummate teacher, and that his approach to investing has made good money for his subscribers while keeping the risk levels manageable. Whether he is able to call the next bear remains to be seen, but he has a logical, well-educated approach to the market, so I hope that you can forgive those of us who know his work for our enthusiastic approval of what he has done so far.

Ian S: No malice meant - thought you needed a laugh tonight.

I think many here share your self responsibility. However, it's hard to place anything but a high value on the thinking of the person this thread honors given his outstanding record over the years. I've been a listener since October 1981 and heard his great bull market call on local New York City radio in August 1982 at DOW 777. If only I had the sense then to ... yada yada yada
