Dorsey-Wright noted today that VRIO broke a double top buy. It would hit a new high at $43. Presidential Brokerage called it a buy at the current level during the Wall Street Financial Newshour, noting that the current relative strength is 97%. Load up if it should pull back to $34.

Actually, the correct source is Briefing not AOL.

Furby Who? : Beanie Babies and Furby are out. Pokemon is the new king of the hill in the toy aisle. But even hotter than Pokemon products have been the stocks of two obscure companies which have inked deals to license items based on the popular Nintendo game and television series -- Grand Toys International (GRIN 9 15/16 +2 13/16) and 4 Kids Entertainment (KIDE 67 7/8 +6 13/16)... Shares of Quebec, Canada-based GRIN have now more than doubled in the three weeks since company announced licensing agreement with Nintendo Co. Ltd. to manufacture and distribute a line of products in Canada based on Pokemon. But New York City-based KIDE has been the biggest beneficiary of the Pokemon phenomenon, on both a financial and share price basis. In what has traditionally been the company's slowest quarter of the year (June), 4 Kids Entertainment recently posted a sequential revenue gain of 69% and a yr/yr improvement of 151%. Net income soared almost 1600% from the year-ago qtr... According to 4 Kids Entertainment, the Pokemon CD is No. 1 on Billboard's Children's Music Chart, the "The Official Pokemon Handbook" is in the top 5 of USA Today's best selling paperback titles, Pokeman videos hold the the No. 3, No. 4 and No. 10 best selling positions in all home video sales and Pokemon television series continues to hold the No. 1 position among kids shows... KIDE shares have rocketed 827% on a year-to-date basis and added 30 points or 81% in the month of August alone... Both issues benefit from extremely small floats, KIDE 2.4 mln shares and GRIN just 0.3 mln shares. - DS
