+Net2Phone market cap speeds past $2 billion mark
23 August 1999

Shares of Net2Phone shot ahead 38 percent today taking the leading Internet telephony provider past $2 billion of market capitalisation. The company saw its stock jump over $14 to 50 5/8 on volume of 4,494,100 shares.
Sources suggest that the service provider is coming out of its "quiet period" shortly.

Net2Phone recently issued 5.4 million shares through underwriters led by Hambrecht & Quist LLC, BT Alex. Brown, and Bear Stearns. At its debut the stocks went up by 35%.

Net2Phone has scored several marketing deals which include those with NBC, ICQ, NetScape, Excite, Yahoo!, GeoCities, BigFoot, Real Networks and IBM.

In addition to these arrangements Net2Phone has a vast network of individual agents worldwide advertising the service in print media, the websites, and other channels.
