I would probably be almost as surprised as you if we actually do hit Dow 36000 in less than 10 years, let alone Glassman's 5.

I've yet to see any convincing study that has convinced me that a long term investor should diddle around with asset allocation other than to ensure that expenses for the next 5 years aren't planned to come from equities.

When bears like Tice suggest that Gold is a great investment, I'm happy not to be too influenced by gurus.
